Yeah I know I'm an idiot because I love this movie, but come on... Sucker Punch may not have an intriguing plot (the plot is simple, really), deep characters or whatever critics love, but this movie is just brilliant, mindblowing with its unique style of storytelling, dazzling visuals and beautiful cinematography that only Zack Snyder can do and only a few people can understand what he means.

Sucker Punch was released on March 25 worldwide. It was one of my most anticipated movie this year. But, those deathly movie tax prevented me and the other Indonesian Cinephile to watch this flick in Indonesia Theaters. We were so freak'n sad and angry.
There's one thing that makes Sucker Punch became one of my most anticipated movie this year : Zack Snyder. Yeah, he is my favorite director 'cause he made Watchmen, the best movie I've ever seen in my life. Beside, I also love how he created action sequences in his movies (watch 300, Watchmen. You'll know what I mean). They are so artistic, stylish and mindblowing, so far only him and Wachowski Brothers (the Matrix trilogy) can make those extraordinary action sequences.
Unfortunately, Original movie is Zack Snyder's weakness. Yeah, Sucker Punch is his first original movie that wasn't adapted from any comic books. And it sucks both on box office and quality (lack of good script, confusing plot, etc). But, as Zack Snyder fans and for those who love action movie, Sucker Punch is definitely a must watch.

So, it's no brainer to make a sequel even critics didn't like it. Mr. Bean's Holiday, The sequel from 1997's Bean movie, was finally being released on March 2007 and once again, it was a massive success with total worldwide gross US$ 229,736,344.
Beside his famous role as Mr. Bean, Rowan Atkinson was also taking roles in various movies, such as Johnny English, The Lion King (Zazu's Voice), Love Actually (cameo), Rat Race (supporting role), etc.
Johnny English is his first movie (beside his Bean movie) that got a sequel treatment.

So far, I could say that Johnny English 2 may not break any box office records, but sure, Johnny English still can get a lot more dollars than its predecessor because Universal released Johnny English in October, which there is no blockbuster movie (except Real Steel), instead in Summer like its predecessor.
Overall, Johnny English is still a good entertainment to watch with a whole family (Rated PG). And of course, for those who miss Mr. Bean antiques especially Rowan Atkinson's fans, this is definitely a must watch.


ENGLISH'S FIRST MISSION : WHEN JAMES BOND MEETS MR. BEAN

Every beginning has an end. I remember when I watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the first time in 2001. I was amazed with all its storyline, visuals, music and became a Potter fans immediately after the credit titles rolled out. I was grow up with Harry Potter.
And now, I'm in college and here comes the end of Potter. Actually I've read all his novels, so I know how it end and what happened with his friends, his life, etc. But, the movie itself, while it isn't as good as the novels, is being made seriously and top of all, Fans love it.

Amazing right?

This latest trailer is convincing us that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows would be an ultimate conclusion of the Harry Potter saga which has started a decade ago. Everything that his fans want included in this trailer from the mighty final battle between team Potter (ups..) and Death Eaters, human drama, and dazzling visual effects that will surely blow up your mind. Of course, as a cinephile, we should forget our famous proverb "Don't judge a movie by its trailer", but with fresh ratings from Rottentomatoes for the entire installment of Harry Potter, we need not to worry about the quality of this final installment. As a matter of fact, It isn't excessive to say that this movie will be the highest grossing movie of all time or at least defeat the last installment of  "the Lord of the Rings", since the Harry Potter fanbase is extraordinary huge.

Harry Potter is ready to greet his fans for the last time on July 15th, 2011 in IMAX 3D, 3D, IMAX, and 2D, unfortunately, Harry Potter is prohibited by the Deathly Tax to greet his Indonesian fans in Theaters (sorry for the pun).
